Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting with a focus on hand therapy and flexible scheduling options.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Outpatient occupational therapy split between two locations, 20 hours each at Troy and Piqua
  • Day shifts available with flexible scheduling, including 4x10, 4x9 plus a half-day Friday, or 5x8
  • Primary focus on hand therapy patients
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary patient care team
  • Assume a leadership role, develop individualized care plans, and implement a variety of occupational therapy techniques
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities
  • Maintain high standards of customer service
  • Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Travelers are not eligible for employee incentive programs

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent required
  • Current Ohio Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification strongly preferred; extensive hand therapy experience considered if not CHT certified
  • Current CPR certification required at hire
  • No prior work experience required, but 1-3 years relevant experience is preferred
