What You Can Expect

Annual Salary : $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience

Schedule : Monday through Friday, full-time, in-office

Location : Fairfield, CA (must live within 30 miles)

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on estimating role focused on plumbing-related commercial construction projects. You’ll work closely with the project team to prepare bids, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure estimates are complete and accurate from start to finish.

Your responsibilities include :

Reviewing project plans and specifications for new construction and remodels

Preparing estimates and takeoffs for labor, materials, and subcontractor work

Coordinating and tracking bid invitations and subcontractor proposals

Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order pricing

Using software tools like Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project to organize and present information

Supporting project managers and office staff with job tracking and scheduling

Attending job site meetings when needed to stay aligned with field progress

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating

Strong understanding of commercial building systems and plan sets (architectural, civil, MEP, etc.)

Proficient in Excel, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

Familiar with Procore (or willing to complete certification before starting)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Able to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once

Must live within 30 miles of Fairfield, CA and be available to work in-office

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional job site visits

Comfortable working in a detail-driven and fast-paced environment
