Piper Companies is currently looking for a Power BI Administrator in the Omaha, NE area to work for well established government integrator. This role requires the candidate to report to Offutt AFB and posses an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities for the Power BI Administrator :

  • Manages Power Platform and administers integrations with other systems
  • Manages access rights / control and provides user support as needed
  • Manages on-premises data gateways, including creating data sources, managing data source users, and deleting the gateway
  • Registers on-premises data sources with the Power BI Admin Center to enable cloud access
  • Creates, deletes, and updates datasets, and manages the schema and data sources connected to the datasets

Qualifications for the Power BI Administrator :

  • 5+ years professional experience with Power BI or similar platform
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs
  • Proficiency in Power Query (M Language) for data transformation and shaping
  • Experience setting up and enforcing data governance, naming conventions, and workspace policies
  • Ability to manage Power BI licensing, security groups, and user access provisioning
  • Understanding of ETL Processes, data pipelines, and data integrity best practices
  • Active Top Secret level clearance with SCI eligibility

    • Compensation for the Power BI Administrator :

  • Salary Range : $130,000-145,000 (depending on experience)
  • Relocation assistance available
