Job Details :

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Project Accountant to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is a permanent, full-time role focused on construction accounting and finance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, Work in Progress (WIP), Percentage of Completion (POC), lien waivers, change orders, AIA, Timberline, Sage, Vista, Vista Viewpoint, and Job Costing. The individual will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our construction projects and will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of these projects.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Prepare and analyze monthly WIP and POC reports.
• Handle all aspects of change orders, including preparation, submission, tracking, and reconciliation.
• Manage lien waivers and ensure compliance with all contractual and legal requirements.
• Utilize accounting software such as Timberline, Sage, Vista, and Vista Viewpoint for efficient and accurate financial management.
• Conduct job costing analysis and provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review and approve invoices, ensuring they comply with contractual terms and conditions.
• Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
