The Opportunity

As a  P&C Underwriter , you will play a crucial role in assessing, pricing, and managing insurance risks for both new and renewal business. You will be instrumental in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our valued brokers and insureds, directly contributing to our continued growth and success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on precision, proactive engagement, and continuous learning within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines space.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly  underwrite  new and renewal Property and Casualty insurance submissions, evaluating complex risks and exposures with keen attention to detail.
• Determine appropriate pricing levels, coverage terms, and conditions to ensure profitability and competitiveness while meeting client needs.
• Cultivate and maintain  strong, proactive relationships  with brokers and insureds by providing timely, responsive, and high-quality customer service.
• Actively  identify and pursue new business opportunities  through consistent communication, market awareness, and collaboration with brokers and clients.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., claims, sales, operations) to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Stay current with market trends, industry regulations, and emerging risks to inform sound underwriting decisions and contribute to portfolio management.
