Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the part programming of CNC machines, process development, and customer training in an manufacturing environment
- Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, machine assessment and recommendations, and part processing recommendations
- Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
- Interpreting part prints, plans and specifications
- Create time studies and perform first part run off
- Programing, set up and training of Citizen and Miyano CNC lathes and CNC vertical or horizontal mills. Setting up CNC programming per customer specifications
- Provide customer support via phone and travel to customer sites
- Align and interface bar feed unit
- Domestic travel required in the tri state area - up to 80% for MA and CA, 30% for NJ and IL)
- Occasional travel to Mexico and Canada
