FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE including 4 / 10-hour shifts and 5 / 8-hour shifts with flexible start times!

SALARY RANGE : $17.00 to $24.00 per hour

As the Mechanical Assembler , your primary responsibility will be to accurately define appropriate build sequences and provide hands on labor to assemble mobile equipment projects for industries including railway, construction, oil, mining, and more. You will use your detail-oriented skills to take responsibility and see projects through to completion.

What does the Mechanical Assembler is responsible do at SpecSys?

• Assembles mechanical components into controls of moderate complexity by following controlled documentation, standards and specifications
• Assembles hydraulic actuators by hand using hand tools bending tubing, drilling and taping
• Identifies appropriate assembly sequences to minimize unproductive time
• Ensures products are built and tested to meet customer requirements
• Identifies component shortages and coordinate parts tracking with purchasing / material handling department
• Coordinates workload with the assigned project manager to ensure design changes ECO changes are implemented into the overall assembly process
• Provides input into QC process improvements
