A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who will work remotely and must adhere to Pacific Standard Time.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the traffic proxy / API Gateway platform and manage CI / CD pipelines
Collaborate with SREs and QA teams to resolve production and test environment issues
Implement bug fixes, security patches, and continuously improve service performance and scalability
Required Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Java or C++ with solid software engineering fundamentals
Deep understanding of distributed systems and high-performance infrastructure services
Experience with large-scale traffic processing and familiarity with Nginx or similar technologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in infrastructure or platform engineering
