Tax Analyst

Job Title : Tax Analyst

Pay Rate : $32.46 / hr W2

Duration : 6 months

Location : Cumberland, RI - ONSITE

M-F 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm

Work with internal partners to assist with the completion of sales and use tax compliance, audit, and accounting obligations.

Partner with a team of tax professionals to consistently deliver all sales and use tax obligations in a timely manner. Prepare, review, and analyze sales and use tax compliance data.

Work with 3rd party consultants and internal parties to resolve sales tax related issues, including but not limited to notices and business license matters.

Assist with sales and use tax audits; compile and review requested documentation and audit workpapers.

Prepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for indirect tax accounts.

Assist with property tax compliance efforts

At least two (2) years of sales and use tax experience (public or private)

Work with internal partners to assist with the completion of sales and use tax compliance, audit, and accounting obligations.
