Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching position is available for the current school year in a K-12 setting. This role focuses on supporting students with special needs across middle and high school levels. The position is contract-based and located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies for optimal growth.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Support students social and emotional development alongside academic goals.
Qualifications :
Valid certification in Special Education.Experience teaching special education students, especially at middle or high school levels.Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to special education.Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and adapt to varying educational needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Location :
