Shipping Clerk

As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for executing the shipment schedule and daily shipping/receiving activities. You will be tasked with verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Other responsibilities include comparing identifying information, counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices orders, and other records.

Qualifications

Education: B.A./B.S. or the equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of shipping experience in manufacturing settings

Language: English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plus

Skills:

• Basic mathematic skills
• Organizational skills
• Familiarity with computers to track various aspects of goods
• Ability to follow instructions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate lift trucks and hand trucks
• Communication proficiency
• Experience with SAP

Responsibilities

• Follows up daily incoming receiving, makes sure received goods are received in timely manner
• Maintains daily receiving log and SAP transactions for received goods
• Report any discrepancies to the supervisor and Supply Chain Management team
• C-TPAT compliances
• Follows up shipping schedule and requests. Verifies if shipments are shipped on time
• Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified and that material is handled
• Coordinates with shipping carriers, internal customers and external customers

Pay rate: $20/h - $23/h
