As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives. Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.

Job responsibilities include:

• Patient satisfaction: Is a role model for the Hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort, demonstrating AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates, and colleagues.
• Greets the patient, establishes patient identity, thoroughly explains the procedure to the patient and verifies the consent form is current, accurate, appropriate and in conjunction with Department and Medical Center's policies. Practices age-specific awareness when interacting with patients of various age groups.
• Verifies the completion or existence of the patient's plan of care and reassesses the patient and continues or modifies the plan of care in accordance with changes in the patient's condition, diagnosis, needs, and/or outcomes in accordance with the patient's age-related and developmental needs.
• Verifies completed lab results, documents results on the patient's chart and notifies the physician of any abnormal results.
• Sets up the special procedure's suite in accordance with the Medical Center's aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.

Job requirements include:

• California Registered Nurse license, upon hire.
• Three to five years of current acute medical-surgical experience and critical care or emergency department experience, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.
