We're Hiring : Facilities Administrator

Location : On-site in Santa Fe, NM

Schedule : Mon–Fri, 8 : 30 AM–5 : 30 PM

Status : Full-Time (40 hours / week)

Starting Pay : $24.00 / hour

Guadalupe Credit Union is looking for a Facilities Administrator to join our team! In this role, you'll help ensure GCU's buildings, systems, and equipment are functioning safely, efficiently, and in excellent condition. You'll coordinate maintenance, oversee vendor services, and complete minor repairs to provide a secure and comfortable environment for our employees and members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage building security, preventive maintenance, and facility improvement projects across all GCU locations.

Perform minor repairs, wall touch-ups, and painting as needed.

Coordinate vendor services for maintenance, janitorial, HVAC, and other building systems.

Monitor supply inventories, maintenance schedules, and facility budgets to ensure efficient operations.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and communicate updates with managers and staff.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, contracts, and GCU policies.

Support GCU's mission by providing excellent service and maintaining professional facilities for members and staff.

Requirements :

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, improvement, or repair-preferably in a multi-site environment. Working knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical or HVAC troubleshooting required.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a specialized trade program or extensive in-house training.
• Other Requirements : Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving and communication skills. A valid driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements :

This is a physically active and labor-intensive position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach overhead. The role involves frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of tools, equipment, and materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The employee must have the stamina and mobility to perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections across multiple buildings and sites throughout the day.
