Schedule
Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30). Must be available every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday).
Job Description
The ideal candidate will provide effective and compassionate care for children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The candidate will also float to Pediatrics and NICU when necessary, while maintaining competence in cardiac care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical status.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members for patient care planning.
- Ensure comfort and safety of patients while in the unit.
