Job Title : Masker Job Description

Join our team as a Masker, where you will play a crucial role in masking aerospace and defense metal parts. You will be responsible for using tape, plugs, and other materials to cover and protect areas from coating, working both independently and occasionally with a partner on larger parts. The parts range in size from as small as a quarter to as large as a shipping container. The role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work with small hand tools.

Responsibilities

Mask aerospace and defense metal parts using tape, plugs, and other materials.

Work independently and occasionally partner with another masker for larger parts.

Use small hand tools for intricate masking tasks.

Assist with racking of parts as needed.

Essential Skills

1+ year of manufacturing experience.

1+ year working with smaller intricate parts.

Ability to read and write in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous masking experience is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with ITAR, manufacturing, machine operation, and packaging.

No more than two jobs in the last three years.

Experience in small part assembly, paint prep, and industrial settings is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a large, air-conditioned building with no unpleasant smells. The facility includes multiple rooms for different departments, with the main workspace being a large room with machinery. This is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday, from 7 : 30am to 3 : 30pm. The dress code is casual, requiring a t-shirt or sweater, long pants, and steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
