Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to support cybersecurity engineering and compliance activities in Federal environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain security documentation and artifacts for A&A activities and ATO package preparation

Implement and monitor security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate remediation efforts

Collaborate with various teams to ensure secure system integration and support incident response efforts

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or information security operations

Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and federal cybersecurity compliance practices

Experience with ATO preparation, control validation, and continuous monitoring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
