Senior PCI Business Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Senior PCI Business Analyst to join our team as a subject matter expert in payments and financial technologies.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, propose and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. You will also be responsible for managing requirements and changes and helping the development team to understand clients' requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in payments and financial technologies and analyst/consultant to understand customer's needs, and gather and document requirements
• Handle complex projects, which may involve multiple integrated systems, numerous stakeholders, and intricate team dynamics
• Evaluate the performance of existing business processes and systems, analyzing key metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences
• Plan and scope interrelated initiatives, assisting senior-level stakeholders in making informed decisions about product/system development strategy, ensuring that operational goals are met by aligning business processes with strategic objectives
• Identify and mitigate operational and technical risks within the business, assessing risks related to technology, compliance, and security
• Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases, working closely with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to elicit detailed requirements for system enhancements or new projects
• Help clients understand the best solution, design MVP and PoC if required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on PCI (Payment Card Industry)
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
• Experience in BRD and SRS preparation, requirements management, and documentation using notations and diagramming tools such as UML and BPMN
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
• Experience with Independent processing centers, Bank cards/processing department of the bank, Vendor/system integrator for processing centers/banks, and Payment vendors
• Knowledge of acquiring and issuing processes, payment transactions cycle and structure, appropriate technologies, and relevant project experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenWay (Way4), Compass Plus (Tranzware, Tranzaxis), FIS, and other PCI platforms
• Knowledge of ISO
• Knowledge of Instant and Installment payments
• Experience of Presales and Presales artifacts creation
