What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking identification, and verifying authorization for visitors and staff as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific guidelines.

Support emergency response activities, such as assisting with evacuations or providing directions during medical or security-related emergencies.

Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals on site, including patients, visitors, and staff, to maintain a welcoming environment while promoting security-related awareness.

Minimum Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
