Overview

The Department of English, Communication, Culture, and Art at Western New England University invites applications to fill an opening for Adjunct Professor of Communication in the spring 2026 semester.

Responsibilities

• Teach at least one in-person section of a sophomore-level introductory public relations course. Courses are scheduled three days per week (MWF) for 50 minutes.
• May be asked to teach additional courses in event planning and/or public relations campaigns.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public relations, communication, journalism, or a related subject, OR at least 10 years’ recent professional experience in the field of public relations.
• Prior experience teaching and/or guest-lecturing to undergraduate students.
• Demonstrated dedication to student success.
