Pilatus is hiring a Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Broomfield, CO.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering level support to the front-line Technical Support Engineering team in troubleshooting complex systems and avionics problems relating to the PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft.

A successful person in this position will identify and resolve technical and operational issues and provide engineering documentation as needed.

What you do Interprets and analyzes complex systems problems, associated engineering and vendor literatureProvides technical assistance over the telephone to Pilatus Service Centers and / or customersPlans, coordinates, and participates in technical field campaigns with customers, service centers, and systems vendors to resolve in-service problemsAnalyzes reported failures and problems in systems and components and provides solutions to increase dispatch reliabilityProvides support with vendor component and systems evaluations, testing, failure assessments, and investigations and provides recommendations to improve dispatch reliabilityWrites and reviews technical memos, procedure instructions, engineering reports and analysis, and other documentation What you bring BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications meeting the position responsibilities3

  • 5 years of related experience; PC-12 / PC-24 aircraft or similar platforms preferredExperience with troubleshooting complex aircraft systems on state-of-the art aircraftHoneywell APEX / EPIC, Garmin G3000, or similar product experience is highly desirableFAA airframe and powerplant rating and FAA inspection authorization desirable but not requiredExperience writing engineering documents, procedures, and technical documentationExperience in Component Control Quantum, SAP, and Siemens Teamcenter Engineering desirableMaintains all required documents to travel outside the .
