What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Lead and guide a team of engineering professionals to develop and deliver completed engineering requirements for assigned projects
Build and maintain a high‑performing engineering team with the necessary technical expertise to support multiple aircraft modification activities
Manage the annual Performance and Development (P&D) process, including performance assessments and talent management
Collaborate with global counterparts on engineering methods, certification, compliance, and process improvements
Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and customer contract stipulations
What is Required (Qualifications) :
B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautic, Civil, or Electrical Engineering)
Minimum of 13 years of experience within the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft cabin engineering and development processes
At least 5 years of technical leadership experience
Experience in cabin equipment and cabin integration
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
Experience leading a technical team of aviation personnel
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
Knowledge of design, certification, and qualification requirements related to aircraft cabins
Ability to mentor and understand principles within the assigned discipline
Familiarity with safety management systems in aviation
