Job Description
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS), drive root-cause problem solving, and lead PPAP / control plan activities to AIAG standards. This role partners closely with the Quality Manager and supports ISO 9001 : 2015 compliance and audits in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead corrective actions using 8D , 5 Why , and PFMEA ; own root-cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
- Manage PPAP submissions, control plans , and process flows per AIAG requirements.
- Perform and interpret CPK capability studies and Gage R&R ; drive data-based improvements.
- Create / revise SOPs , work instructions, and other quality documentation.
- Support internal / external ISO 9001 : 2015 audits and maintain QMS compliance.
- Champion 6S , safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
