Job Summary :

Neurosurgical team in Riverside, California is seeking a PA or NP to join a busy and growing practice

Qualified Candidates :

Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Certification

Day shift coverage

Surgical First Assist experience is preferred

Our levels of expertise include, Intracranial : trauma, brain tumors, general vascular, shunts and drains, and stroke care when needed. Spine : comfortable with acute spine fracture mgt (cervical, thoracic, and LS spines) at a minimum the surgical treatment of unstable burst fx.s, Neurosurgical management of Degenerative Spine disorders. (We have both Stryker Q-guidance and Medtronic Stealth O-arm neuronavigation systems). Our group has Complex / deformity (adult and pediatric) spine, Functional (DBS), and Pituitary Neurosurgeons / strong ENT alliance with skull base specialists on board and are available for collaboration and joint management as needed.

Job Description :

Assist with rounding on inpatient service and coordinating care with other service lines

First assist in OR

Assist in outpatient setting with pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care
