Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Woodworker to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you’ll be an important part of a skilled production team—crafting, assembling, and finishing high-quality wood products with care and precision.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Woodworker, your core responsibilities will include:
- Wood Fabrication: Assemble custom wood products using laminates, particle board, and other woodworking materials.
- Craftsmanship & Quality: Ensure all finished pieces meet company and customer quality standards.
- Shop Safety & Maintenance: Follow all shop safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
In addition, you will also be expected to collaborate with team members, maintain consistent quality output, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous experience doing woodworking for another company
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must wear steel-toe or composite toe shoes and safety glasses
Skills:
- Material Knowledge: Familiarity with laminates, particle board, and common woodworking materials ensures efficient and accurate production.
- Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of shop safety procedures and equipment use promotes a secure work environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality finished products.
