Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Stress Analysis Engineer to perform structural analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structures and update existing analyses to reflect design changes. The role involves working on metallic and composite structures, including MRB stress analysis, and requires proficiency in advanced FEA tools.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct stress analysis for primary and secondary airframe structures.
- Update existing analyses to incorporate design modifications.
- Perform MRB stress analysis for metallic and composite structures.
- Utilize FEA software for structural analysis and modeling.
- Interpret detail, assembly, and installation drawings and models.
Minimum Qualifications :
Strong experience in airframe primary structure layout and sizing.Proficiency in hand and Excel-based analysis of aerospace structures.Expertise in FEA tools such as NASTRAN and PATRAN or HyperMesh.Experience with CATIA V5 for design interpretation.Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with Slim, Vision, IDAT, and 3DX tools.Experience with Altair HyperMesh (pre-processing) and TMP Vision (post-processing).Knowledge of UNIX / Linux operating systems.
