The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 annually, plus a 15% bonus opportunity. Please note that the base salary will vary based on geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience.

  • Ensure policies, procedures, and controls remain current, practical, and embedded in daily operations.
  • Support Depot Leaders' ownership of EHS and food safety documentation, including revision control, record retention, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Operations, Fleet, and Facilities to ensure environmental, workplace safety, and food safety considerations are integrated into depot design, equipment deployment, and process changes.

2. Audit, Inspection & Compliance Oversight

  • Review third-party audits, customer assessments, and regulatory inspections, ensuring corrective actions are effective, sustainable, and prevent recurrence.
  • Support internal EHS and food safety audits across RT locations, clearly communicating findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide on-site support during unannounced inspections and audits, coaching local leadership through regulatory interactions.
  • Track, analyze, and report compliance trends by depot, region, and enterprise to inform leadership decisions and proactive risk mitigation.
  • 3. Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state / local regulations, in partnership with Regulatory and EHS Business Partner resources.
  • Maintain timely regulated registrations and required regulatory filings for RT facilities.
  • Support environmental compliance initiatives including waste handling, spill prevention, chemical management, and safe material storage.
  • 4. Training, Enablement & Capability Building

  • Sustain, refresh, and enhance existing EHS and food safety training programs, including leader onboarding and ongoing field training.
  • Partner with Operations Excellence to develop and update training materials to reflect regulatory updates, audit findings, and operational best practices.
  • Enable leaders at all levels to understand and execute their accountability for environmental safety, workplace safety, and food safety compliance.
  • 5. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships with Operations, Fleet, Facilities, Regulatory, third-party auditors, pest control providers, and chemical suppliers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to field leadership, balancing compliance requirements with operational realities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with leaders and stakeholders regarding risks, expectations, and improvement plans.
  • 6. Incident, Complaint & Risk Management

  • Support investigation of customer complaints, safety incidents, and compliance deviations, identifying root causes and systemic improvements.
  • Oversee Mock Recall and traceability exercises, ensuring effective execution, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes to proactively adapt existing programs.
  • 7. Equipment, Fleet & Operational Safety Support

  • Partner with Fleet, Distribution, and Depot teams to ensure equipment use, transfers, and maintenance meet environmental, safety, and food safety requirements.
  • Monitor equipment calibration programs and performance trends to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Support safe field testing and deployment of new equipment and processes when EHS or food safety risks are present.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Food Science, Industrial Safety, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing EHS and / or food safety programs in multi-site operational environments.
