Top rated specialty medical group in Newport Beach & Huntington Beach, CA has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant. Position is working both back office and front office with multiple providers and a wonderful office staff. Direct hire opportunity!

Summary :

Position : Medical Front Office (back office and front office)

Hours : 8 : 30am - 5pm; Monday - Friday

Pay Rate : $23-24hr DOE

Location : Newport Beach, & Huntington Beach, CA 92663

Duties

• Scheduling appointments
• Greet patients upon arrival and check out according to protocol
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, verify insurance and provide excellent customer service
• Take detailed and accurate messages
• Guide patients to the back office
• Patient Check-In
• Insurance Eligibility
• 1 year of previous medical office experience working front office setting
• Back office duties, rooming, vitals, room prep and assisting with procedures.

Position Requirements

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
