OBGYN Laborist Physician - Flexible Schedule, Potential Academic Teaching Opportunity

Mount Carmel Health Systemone of Central Ohios largest healthcare networksis seeking a dedicated OBGYN Laborist Physician to join our team and provide exceptional care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Highlights

• Employment Status: 0.9 FTE
• Schedule Options:
• Standard: Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Optional: One 24-hour shift plus one 12-hour shift for those who prefer longer blocks
• No Outpatient Responsibilities: Focus exclusively on inpatient obstetrics and gynecology
• Hospital Locations:
• Mount Carmel St. Anns -(OSU OB/GYN residents)- Level III nursery, ~3,500 deliveries/year
• Mount Carmel East - (Nurse Midwives) -Level III nursery, ~2,000 deliveries/year
• Mount Carmel Grove City -(OSU OB/GYN residents)-Level II, ~1500 deliveries/year
• Team Environment: Work alongside experienced OBGYNs, midwives, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists
• 24/7 MFM Support: Continuous maternal-fetal medicine coverage for complex cases
• Academic Affiliation: It is essential that you are open to teaching and mentoring residents through our partnership with OSU OBGYN Residency on the Mt. Carmel St. Anns Hospital or Mt. Carmel Grove City Campuses.
• Technology: Access to Da Vinci robotic surgery at all campuses
