Unit Details :

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Call Requirement : None

Floating : Within facility and scope of practice as needed

Minimum Experience : 1 year (unit accepts first-time travelers)

RTO Limit : Maximum 7 days per assignment

Holiday Policy :

If major holidays fall within the traveler’s assignment, the following applies :

1 Major Holiday : Traveler expected to work it

2 Major Holidays : Traveler expected to work both

3 Major Holidays : Traveler expected to work 2 out of 3

Major Holidays include :

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving / Black Friday

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day

Compliance & Screening :

Compliance : Full compliance required to start on time

If compliance is delayed, start date may be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Clinical Screen : Conducted on a case-by-case basis to confirm clinical fit. Candidates meeting Piedmont guidelines will proceed to manager review.

Non-Billable Orientation Hours : Determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week contract, 19 hours for a 19-week contract).
