Accounting Clerk Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities:

• Process premium receipts promptly and accurately to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform data entry tasks for multiple divisions and assigned projects with precision.
• Organize, file, and scan accounting documents to maintain an orderly record-keeping system.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Handle cash applications and payment processing with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in fulfilling organizational goals and uphold the company's mission and values.
• Collaborate with team members to address accounting-related tasks effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information, cash, checks, and banking details.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting with attention to detail is required.
• Excellent typing and 10-key skills are necessary for success in this role.
• Familiarity with data entry and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and billing processes is a strong advantage.
