A material handler moves, stocks, and organizes materials within a yard, warehouse or industrial setting. They're key to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring accurate inventory.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize materials, parts, or products throughout a facility using equipment like forklifts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
• Stock shelves, racks, and bins in designated areas.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
• Perform basic quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
• Keep accurate records of inventory and material movements.
• Operate equipment like RF scanners to track inventory.
