Physician Opportunity at Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Physician to join our team at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC) in Corpus Christi. As a Staff Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Here are some key responsibilities :

• Diagnosing and treating individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs
• Developing health care plans with measurable goals and interventions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advocate for individuals' medical needs
• Monitoring and overseeing the implementation of health care plans
• Participating in treatment team processes and interdisciplinary meetings

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be involved in providing acute and chronic care, prescribing medications, and ensuring the overall well-being of the individuals.
