The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, MO.
Join our team as an Industrial Security Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in supporting dynamic programs impacting national security within the Phantom Works division. Position Responsibilities :
Executes internal security controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations / requirements.
Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action.
Communicates results to security management and customers.
Conducts administrative inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations / requirements.
Conducts communication security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution, and destruction), in compliance with government regulations / requirements.
Protects government, intellectual, third party, and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
Develops, implements and administers an operational security program, security education, procedures, and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations / requirements on large and / or complex programs.
Leads and performs personnel security team and / or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances / accesses for complex customer requirements.
Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property, and information.
Performs physical security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations / requirements.
Performs sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations / requirements.
Communicates results to security management and customers.
Participates, as requested, in enterprise integrated product teams (IPT).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.
Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
5+ years of experience working in Industrial Security.
5+ years of experience working in a classified environment.
5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains : NISP, SAP, and / or SCI.
Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
5+ years experience with Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07.
Experience with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and 32 CFR, part 117 (NISPOM).
Experience with ICD 705 Construction Standards.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range : $100,300 - $135,700
