Job Summary and Qualifications
Self-scheduling options available four weeks in advance for predictable work hours.Collaborative culture amongst all surgical staff for mutual respect and teamwork.Continuous investment in cutting-edge surgical equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.Regular engagement with unit leaders to communicate feedback and suggestions for workflow improvements.On-call responsibilities required during select non-business hours.Your responsibilities in this role will include :
Evaluating patients pre-surgery.Educating patients and families about the procedure and perioperative process.Preparing patients including managing intravenous therapy and medications.Participating in surgical site verification protocols per hospital policy.Recognizing and responding effectively to emergencies.Delivering high-quality, patient-focused care, while initiating improvement practices.Being a key member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.Applying critical thinking and technical skills to ensure safe nursing care.Monitoring patient conditions and documenting all changes.Providing education on medical conditions and follow-up care to patients and families.Qualifications for this position :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree).Minimum of six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License required within 60 days of hire).Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment.Join a team that is recognized as one of the best places to work in healthcare, with awards for excellence in patient care.
