We are currently seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Our North American Sustainability Center of Excellence (CoE) works closely with senior executives to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape, enhance data collection/reporting mechanisms, and deploy large-scale decarbonization programs. NTT DATA is seeking a dynamic Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability Practice. In this role, you will drive business development growth, nurture client and partner relationships, manage a diverse team, and collaborate across industries to embed sustainability into our go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Build trust with senior sustainability leaders and co-create impactful solutions at the intersection of strategy, operations, and enabling technology
• Lead consulting business development in sustainability by leveraging subject matter expertise and generating repeatable revenue streams
• Serve as a thought leader in the industry through publishing perspectives, presenting at conferences, and being viewed as a credible ESG executive
• Create strategies and develop innovative products and services that meet client needs.
• Partner internally with technology and managed services teams to create pull-through revenue opportunities
• Lead engagements, adapting to changing client needs while maintaining high-quality service delivery within budgets and timelines
• Solve complex problems creatively and communicate solutions clearly and simply.
• Use data and financial analysis to demonstrate ROI, create business plans, and secure project funding
• Develop marketing/sales collateral and proposals that showcase the capabilities of NTT DATA and the NTT Group
• Provide strong leadership to dispersed and matrixed teams while mentoring junior consultants

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of sustainability or ESG experience, with expertise in regulatory compliance and voluntary disclosure requirements
• 5+ years of consulting experience, including cultivating deep client relationships and driving successful consulting engagements
• Proven leadership skills in managing teams and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required (Advanced degrees preferred: MBA, MPA, MS, etc.).
• Ability to travel as required (up to 50%)
