Position Overview
We are hiring a District Manager to oversee a portfolio of self-storage properties in Southern California , focused on the San Diego market . This role is responsible for regional operations, team leadership, and executing strategies to drive revenue, occupancy, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 6–10 self-storage properties and their on-site teams
- Train and mentor site managers to meet performance goals
- Monitor occupancy, rental rates, delinquency, and expense management
- Conduct site visits to ensure operational compliance, safety, and branding standards
- Collaborate with leadership on regional goals, acquisitions, and capital improvement projects
- Manage hiring, staffing schedules, and employee performance reviews
- Analyze reports and implement improvement plans for underperforming sites
