PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – Pay Range= $26 - $38 / HR.

This position is temporary with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR  for our client to start at $26-$38 / HR. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities :

The Production Supervisor leads and coordinates daily shift operations to ensure the manufacture of products is consistent with quality, quantity, safety, and cost requirements.  Wil plan and assign work, enforce policies and procedures and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Direct hourly employees in all aspects of production and packaging process.

Monitor the lines for yield improvement and measure productivity

Comply with the terms of the local labor agreements, state and federal law

Implement good housekeeping standards and safety

Train, develop and evaluate employees

Keep management informed of developments as they occur

Maintain department records

• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD SHIFTS, WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY OVERTIME AS REQUIRED

Schedule / Shift Details

Will start out as a Floater to cover for Supervisors that have time off, must be open to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or Associates Degre in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related degree, OR at least 5 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor

Must be available to work any assigned shift, including 2nd or 3rd shift assignment, weekend, and holiday overtime as required.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures and understanding of basic baking and packaging technology.

Strong troubleshooting skills, with a drive to reduce / eliminate waste.  Good mechanical aptitude with a hands-on mentality a plus

Knowledge of basic math, oral and written communication skills and computer literacy.

Leadership interests and ability required to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output.

Must pass physical, drug screen, and background check

IL Paid Leave for All Workers

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.? An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.? Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility : ? Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age.? Entry dates into the 401(k) are : ? 1 / 1 or 7 / 1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.

The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.? As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution / match maximum is 4%)
