Description
The hiring range for this position is $28.02 - $32.22 per hour depending on qualifications.
Under general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, this position performs technical and administrative accounting work in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the Town. This position works with various financial software systems in completing job duties and special projects and interacts with other Town employees, citizens and vendors.

Typical Qualifications
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, including the processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Working knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices. Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment. Accustomed to providing high levels of customer service, including ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns, research problems and provide solutions. Ability to perform arithmetic computations accurately and quickly; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish successful working relationships; ability to work under pressure and / or frequent interruptions.
