Job Summary The
Engineering Coordinator provides administrative and office support to the Engineering Services team, ensuring accurate preparation, processing, and filing of engineering documents. This position handles documentation workflows, printing and scanning of sealed engineering materials, and electronic filing while supporting general office operations. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize workload under general direction.
Key Responsibilities - Print drawing sets and Professional Engineering (PE) letters for sealing by engineering staff.
- Scan sealed documents and upload files for delivery and record retention.
- Perform administrative tasks including correspondence, scheduling, and office support.
- Prepare and compose word processing documents and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Review incoming correspondence, routing routine requests and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain engineering reference manuals, publications, logbooks, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Execute office automation functions including storing, retrieving, merging, and formatting documents from word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and databases.
- Respond to routine and non-technical information requests.
Required Experience - Experience performing administrative or office coordination duties.
- Experience supporting engineering, technical, or documentation workflows preferred.
Nice-to-Have Experience - Prior experience in engineering services, document control, or technical administrative support.
Education - High school diploma or GED required.
