THE ROLE Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Human Resources Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be six months in duration. We're looking for an HR co-op who's ready to jump in and make an impact. This role offers hands-on experience with projects that support employee development, engagement, and process improvement. You'll help build tools, resources, and programs that make work better for our teams. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a career in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

What You'll Do

• Assist with reviewing and refining career ladders for operations roles, identifying gaps and opportunities
• Support the development of a career path guidebook to promote employee growth and retention
• Develop toolkits, trainings, and microlearning resources
• Support employee networks and engagement committees, help plan events, gather feedback, and contribute to a positive work culture
• Conduct stay interviews and analyze trends in turnover and propose actionable retention strategies based on findings
• Support efforts to streamline and enhance HR-related tracking and documentation processes
• Help to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and assist in building tools or resources that improve day-to-day workflows
• Support the new hire orientation process
• Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned, based on evolving site needs and priorities
