Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to take on essential duties associated with safely picking up waste from customer locations and transporting it to a Clean Harbors facility or another approved disposal site.

Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safety protocols, policies, and practices.
- Operate commercial trucks, supporting field laborers in a collaborative team environment.
- Drive and maintain various Class A trucks.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks efficiently.
- Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer demands.
- Correctly placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, timesheets, and reports.
- Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations diligently.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with all applicable regulations.
- Adhere to corporate operational guidelines and environmental health and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% with overnight stays between Baltimore, MD, and Glenmont, NY.
- Proficiency in using various mobile devices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the job.
- Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination is mandatory.
- Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34; facial hair standards apply for positions requiring respirators.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a commercial driver.
- Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Previous experience handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is a plus.
- Experience in manual labor roles.
