Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I!

Advocate Health is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to support our innovative operating room team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients during surgical procedures.

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

What We Offer :

  • Competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15, based on your qualifications and experience.
  • Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.
  • A $10,000 sign-on bonus available with relocation assistance.
  • A $2,000 sign-on bonus specifically for evening shifts at ASLMC.
  • Opportunities for annual increases based on your performance.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a clean and efficient operating room, utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.
  • Assist surgeons by anticipating their needs and managing the sterile field.
  • Manage patient positioning and transport, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Notifying staff of any equipment or supply issues and maintaining specialty carts.

    • Qualifications :

  • Completed an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required within six months of hire.
  • No prior surgical technologist experience is necessary.
