Data Governance Manager

Responsible for creating and driving the overall strategy and requirements for all data domains within the business unit. Provide oversight and leadership to the definition, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of data standards.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities :

• Oversees the data governance process, including managing the cross-functional data councils.
• Provides leadership regarding the change process for data, including controls, oversight, approval, communication, and documentation.
• Plays a critical role in understanding and communicating the downstream implications of data changes and works with the functional and IT leaders to identify optimal solutions.
• Identifies and implements industry standards and best practices for data governance and management.
• Ensures data integrity and quality and owns the data quality function including regular data audits and quality reporting.
• Participates in the organization's formal Software Development Life Cycle Process team. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
