Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production / Manufacturing Technician with a focus on electro-mechanical assembly for drone production. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical assembly experience with some electrical experience, and will play a crucial role in our production team.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical assembly tasks independently, utilizing schematics, drawings, and instructions.
• Assemble and test avionics components such as PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, and integrated modules, applying precision adhesives and bonding techniques.
• Provide real-time design and assembly feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams, resolving build issues through proper channels.
• Follow detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions and adhere to strict safety procedures.
• Meet aggressive deadlines and flexibly shift priorities across multiple projects.
• Record and update production data accurately.

Work Environment

The role is based in a South San Francisco facility, working within a four-area warehouse. The areas include the front office, nest (for assembling recovery systems, launch systems, and battery devices), vehicles (for assembling drone bodies and composite wing structures), and logistics. Each team consists of 3 to 4 assemblers plus a team lead.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr.
