We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Controller working out of our Wilmington location. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. As the Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial operations and accounting functions for our Hydros division. You will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting operations including vendor payment activities, receivable management, general accounting, expense controls, financial reporting, and financial controls and auditing. This role requires strategic financial leadership and hands-on operational expertise to support our growing HVAC distribution business. No relocation assistance is available for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage the process and posting of vendor invoices.
• Managing intercompany receivable and transactions.
• Reconcile transactions by verifying and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expense reports, recording entries.
• Preparing month end management reports reconciled to balance sheet and income statement.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify general ledger accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Work with CFO and division CEO on Hydros priorities including revenue and profitability targets.

Daily Responsibilities :

Responsible for daily activities of Hydros accounting department. This includes both non-exempt accounts receivable and accounts payable associates and exempt accounting associates.
