Role Summary The Dental Assistant is a critical member of our clinical team, responsible for creating a seamless patient experience, supporting the doctor chairside, and driving treatment acceptance through strong communication and education.

All new DAs complete a competency exam after two weeks to ensure full understanding of our protocols and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence & Chairside Support
Provide high-quality chairside assisting for all proceduresEnsure full readiness for the doctor : x-rays, intraoral / extraoral photos, CBCT, EyeSpecial ortho photos, Pearl AI review, charts, and treatment notesTake and process all imaging : BWX, PAs, CBCT, intraoral photos, scan / impressions, etc.Maintain sterile, organized, and fully stocked operatories at all timesFollow strict OSHA and infection control standardsPatient Experience & Education
Deliver a warm and structured new-patient workflow from imaging to doctor handoffConfirm chief concern, smile assessment interests, and readiness for careHighlight areas of urgency using approved clinical languageAssist with same-day treatment opportunities whenever possibleTreatment Plan Support
Help phase treatment based on urgency, chief concern, quadrants, and schedulingSupport financial presentation by confirming codes, phasing, and plan accuracyCommunicate confidently about restorative, orthodontic, implant, and surgical basicsReinforce urgency phrases, insurance benefits, and next stepsOperational Excellence
Manage supply ordering, inventory levels, and back stockPerform daily maintenance on autoclaves, mills, and equipmentDrain, clean, and refill autoclave water dailyTrack and manage lab cases in our Lab TrackerComplete post-op follow-ups, unscheduled treatment follow-ups, and assist front office as neededDocument all financial or clinical arrangements properly in TwelveRequirements :
Required Skills & Experience
2+years of Dental Assisting experience (expanded functions preferred)Proficiency in x-rays, CBCT, digital photography, and impressions / scansStrong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment clearlyExperience with treatment presentation or willingness to master our processAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-production clinical environmentTech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (Twelve, Pearl AI, etc.)Reliable, positive, and committed to teamworkPreferred Qualifications
EFDA CertificationExperience with AI-based imaging (Pearl) or advanced photography (EyeSpecial)Knowledge of clear aligners, implants, and basic orthodontic terminologyExperience in multi-provider or high-volume practicesWhat We Offer
