Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience throughout their care journey. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive patient care, ensuring that each patient progresses smoothly towards discharge.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will collaborate with the caregiving team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to our patients, effectively communicating with staff, patients, and their families to foster a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments while meticulously documenting all actions in compliance with regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and responses to care.
- Utilize sound clinical judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, both occupational and non-occupational.
- Administer prescribed medications and ensure appropriate use of over-the-counter options.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of a recognized professional nursing program holding a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.Prior experience as a PCA or in another nursing assistance role is preferred.Commitment to professional development through continued education.Knowledge of quality concepts and the ability to apply problem-solving techniques to enhance nursing care quality.Hourly Range : $33.00-$33.99
