Accountant - Entry Level

Entry Level Accountant

Robert Half has an immediate need for an Entry Level Accountant. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and work heavily in Excel. You will report to the Accounting Manager of a dynamic team and have the potential for career growth. This temporary / contract to hire position is located in Arden Hills, MN and is a perfect foot-in-the-door opportunity to start your career in accounting!

Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

Perform data entry

Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies

Put together monthly journal entries

Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Requirements

Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business suggested

High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel is preferred

Exposure to ERP system (QuickBooks, Great Plains, etc.) highly desired

General knowledge of accounts payable & receivable
