Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Float Pool - Night Shift

Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Internal Float Pool!

We are seeking dedicated RNs to provide high-quality, patient-centered care as part of our Internal Float Pool. In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to float between various departments, including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support, allowing you to engage in diverse clinical experiences each shift.

Full / Part Time : Full-time (36 hours per week)

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Flexible Scheduling :

This position allows for self-scheduling, with the following requirements :

• 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays every 6 weeks
• 1 weekend shift every 6 weeks
• 2 holidays (1 in summer and 1 in winter)

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive patient care across multiple units, adapting to various workflows.
• Conduct patient assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Anticipate patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Support a culture of safety by identifying and addressing potential risks.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
