• Unit: Orthopedic Surgery (MS ORTHO 612)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570 per week
• Number of Beds: 20-bed orthopedic unit
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic nursing or surgical unit
• Ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Pain management and orthopedic care experience preferred
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach

Orthopedic RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic surgery and trauma patients
• Perform dressing changes, aspiration procedures, and post-operative care
• Monitor and manage pain for orthopedic and post-surgical patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care and interventions using Meditech EMR
• Support a positive, patient-centered unit culture
